It is designed for light saltwater jigging with a 40–120 g lure rating. Choose your jig within this stated range.
The 1.88 m rod separates into a 1+1 arrangement with a transport length of 142 cm. Choose luggage that accommodates this length. A cloth bag is included.
Its trigger-type reel seat is intended for an overhead reel setup. Use this construction detail when choosing a matching reel, rather than treating it as a conventional fixed-spool rod.

The PENN BATTALION SOLID LJ K is a sea fishing rod for light jigging with 40–120 g lures. Its Solid Spiral Armor blank uses reinforced spiral-shaped fibres in solid carbon to combine strength with sensitivity, helping you control the jig and feel subtle bites.
The slim, high-density carbon blank has a Moderate Fast action. At 1.88 m long and 155 g, the rod keeps weight low for active lure work. A full-grip High Grade EVA handle provides comfortable purchase while working the jig.
Seven Fuji K Alconite guides, including the tip, guide the line. The K-type design helps reduce line tangles, while the Alconite rings contribute to the lightweight build. The Fuji stainless-steel reel seat has a trigger design for an overhead reel setup.
The 1+1 construction separates into two sections with a transport length of 142 cm, so allow that much space in your rod luggage. The rod has a Gloss Grey finish and is supplied in a cloth bag.
