The Matrix Horizon X Pro Slim Feeder Rod is built for anglers who want a responsive, lightweight tool for delicate feeder fishing with small cages up to 30 g — ideal for roach, bream, and other silver fish on rivers and canals.
The carbon blank is deliberately light and slim with a relatively forgiving action, giving you excellent bite detection without masking the gentle pulls of cautious coarse fish. The matte finish reduces glare and adds a refined look on the bank.
Two swap-out quiver tips — 0.5 oz and 1 oz — let you dial in sensitivity on the fly. The finer 0.5 oz tip catches the most hesitant roach bites; the 1 oz tip handles slightly stronger flow or when a little more casting authority is needed. Fuji Alconite K-guides and a Fuji IPS reel seat keep line running smoothly under load.
The Horizon X Pro Slim range covers three lengths and casting weights, each suited to different feeder weights and distances:
Matrix Horizon Pro Slim 3 m 30 g — 110 g rod weight, 154 cm transport length. Best for light feeders up to 30 g on small to medium rivers, canals, and stillwaters targeting roach, rudd, and small bream at shorter distances.
Matrix Horizon X Pro Slim 3.3 m 35 g — 123 g, 169 cm transport. Adds reach for medium-paced rivers or slightly heavier feeders; suits bream and larger roach at mid-range distances.
Matrix Horizon X Pro Slim 3.5 m 40 g — 131 g, 179 cm transport. The longest option for open stillwaters or wide rivers where casting distance and wind resistance demand a heavier feeder approach.
