The Ethos 4 is designed with four compartments for four ready-made rods. While five thinner rods might physically fit, they won't be properly secured and the bag could be overstressed.
The Ethos 4 accommodates ready-made rods (assembled rod-and-reel combinations). It's suitable for most coarse, lure, and feeder rods up to 195cm in length.
The durable PVC base provides water resistance, but the bag is not fully waterproof. For extended rain, add a waterproof cover or store rods in a dry location between sessions.
Each compartment has internal velcro straps that hold rods in place. The straps adjust to fit rods of varying diameters.
