It is designed for distance fishing with buoy or subfloat rigs, including heavy natural-bait setups. The 150–300 g casting weight and powerful 24T carbon blank suit heavy rigs and strong catfish on large, deep waters, rather than light presentations.
The two-section rod has a transport length of 155 cm and weighs 543 g. Use that transport measurement when checking whether it fits your vehicle or rod case, rather than its assembled length of 3 m.
The supplier recommends strong braided or heavy monofilament line for the rod's heavy catfish setups. No exact diameter or breaking strain is specified, so these details do not establish a particular line size.
Wipe it with a damp cloth after fishing and remove dirt from the guides and reel seat. Dry storage in a rod bag or case protects the carbon blank and guides between trips.

The Madcat X-Zibit Deluxe is a catfish rod for fishing buoy and subfloat rigs at distance on large, deep waters. Its powerful 24T carbon blank provides leverage when playing strong catfish, particularly when a fish dives deep. The 150–300 g casting weight suits heavy rigs and natural-bait setups. This is a rod aimed at experienced catfish anglers rather than light fishing.
A SeaGuide DBS reel seat holds the reel securely, while original SeaGuide guides support even load distribution along the blank and protect the line under load. The conspicuous design makes the rod easier to identify when fishing several rods together.
This version measures 3 m and weighs 543 g. Its two-section construction reduces the transport length to 155 cm, making it easier to carry to the swim and assemble there. The supplier also lists 2.75 m, 3.2 m and 3.45 m lengths in the series.
Strong braid or heavy monofilament suits the intended heavy catfish fishing, but no specific line diameter is supplied. After use, wipe the rod with a damp cloth and clean dirt from the guides and reel seat. Store it dry in a rod bag or case to protect the blank and guides.
