It is designed for catfish fishing with Clonk-Teasers in rivers and larger stillwaters. This 240 cm version has a 200–250 g casting rating, so match your setup weight to that range.
The particularly sensitive tip responds to small pressure changes, helping you notice hesitant takes. Its fluorescent green colour makes it easier to watch in poor light or against the light, supporting visual bite detection in those conditions.
The supplier recommends strong multiplier reels or large fixed-spool reels suited to catfish fishing and casting weights up to 250 g. The SeaGuide XSS reel seat has a double locking nut to secure the reel during the fight, so choose a reel built for this heavy setup.
The 240 cm rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 124 cm. Allow for that length when choosing storage space or a rod bag. The rod itself weighs 373 g.
