It covers pellet, buoy and float fishing from the bank or a boat. The 100-300 g casting weight accommodates different rig and bait weights, so you can switch between these supported methods with the same rod.
The SeaGuide XDPS size 20 reel seat is designed for medium to large fixed-spool reels. The original SeaGuide guides are suitable for braid, allowing a braided-line catfish setup with that reel type.
The 285 cm rod breaks down into two sections with a transport length of 146 cm and weighs 425 g. Allow for that packed length when checking your vehicle, rod storage or space aboard a boat.

The Madcat X-Zibit Allround is a catfish rod for fishing from the bank or a boat. Its reinforced 24T carbon blank provides leverage when playing powerful catfish, while the 100-300 g casting weight accommodates a range of rig and bait weights. It suits beginners exploring different methods as well as experienced anglers wanting one rod for several catfish techniques.
The 285 cm rod is intended for pellet fishing, buoy rigs and float fishing, as well as boat fishing. Supported situations include pellet fishing in current, buoy fishing in open water and float fishing in deeper areas. The all-round design lets you change between these methods without changing rods.
Original SeaGuide guides provide even line guidance with reduced friction and are suitable for braided line. The SeaGuide XDPS size 20 reel seat holds the reel securely under load and is designed for medium to large fixed-spool reels. These components support the heavy tackle used for catfish fishing. The rod has a distinctive, bold design.
This version weighs 425 g and has two sections, reducing its 285 cm fishing length to a transport length of 146 cm. Check that length against your storage and transport space, particularly when carrying it to a boat or a difficult bank access point.
After fishing, rinse the rod with clean water, paying particular attention to the guides and reel seat. Store it dry and out of direct sunlight.
