It is suitable for pellet, buoy, float and bottom rigs from the bank or boat. Its sensitive yet powerful blank lets you cover these different setups with one rod, rather than choosing a dedicated specialist for each technique.
The 2.85 m rod is rated at 100–300 g, with Heavy power and Medium Fast action. Use that casting range when matching your setup, while its length and strength support line control at distance on tensioned buoy rigs.
The rod has an original size 22 Fuji DPS reel seat, specified as Fuji DPSM22B. This is the fitting to check against your reel foot. The shrink-tube-covered EVA handle provides a comfortable grip, and the butt is also EVA.
The rod separates into two sections with a transport length of 147 cm and weighs 424 g. Choose storage or a rod bag that accommodates that length, as the assembled fishing length is 2.85 m.

The Madcat Green Allround is a freshwater catfish rod for fishing from the bank or boat with pellet, buoy, float and bottom rigs. Its sensitive yet powerful 24T Carbon blank combines bite indication with the strength to play large fish. It covers several techniques rather than being a specialist for every situation.
This 2.85 m version has a 100–300 g casting weight, Heavy power and Medium Fast action. Its length and power help control the line at distance when fishing tensioned buoy setups, while the sensitive blank registers cautious takes. The rod weighs 424 g.
Eight SeaGuide guides, including the tip guide, carry the line along the blank. An original Fuji DPS reel seat in size 22, specified as Fuji DPSM22B, secures the reel. The EVA handle has a shrink-tube covering for a comfortable grip, with an EVA butt for handling the rod during the fight. The rod has a green finish.
The two-piece construction reduces the 2.85 m fishing length to a transport length of 147 cm. Allow for that length when choosing a rod bag or storage space. The rod is supplied in nylon-bag packaging.
