Yes, the fully padded back panel and adjustable straps support carrying between fishing spots, and the waterproof base protects the bottom on wet ground. Only the base is specified as waterproof, so this does not establish rain protection for the entire backpack.

The Madcat Backpack L is a fishing backpack for mobile catfish anglers. Its fully padded back panel and adjustable straps help make carrying gear comfortable when moving between spots. The 45 L main compartment provides room for equipment, with separate external storage for items you want close at hand.
Two sturdy tackle boxes are included and can be reached through the lower front panel, so you can access them separately from the main compartment. Three external pockets provide extra storage. A further external pocket with a hook-and-loop closure holds a clonk. The clonk itself is not included.
The durable backpack is made from 100% polyester and has a dark camouflage design. Its waterproof base protects the bottom when you set it down on wet ground. The waterproof claim applies to the base, not the entire backpack.
This is size L, measuring 55x45x25cm, with a 45L main compartment. Check these dimensions against the space available for transport and storage.
