The Lucky Craft Clutch SSR (Super Shallow Runner) is a compact 45mm floating crankbait designed to hunt right beneath the surface, reaching depths of just 0.1m — exactly where cautious trout and perch hold in tight, structure-rich water.
At 45mm and 7g, the Clutch SSR is built for accuracy in the trickiest freshwater spots — flooded vegetation, rocky margins, and shallow flats where most lures bottom out or snag. Its tight, lively wobbling action triggers reaction strikes from trout actively patrolling the shallows, while the snag-resistant running behaviour lets you work over obstacles with confidence.
The Clutch SSR earns its place in the box because it produces when conditions are difficult. The tight wobbling action mimics a small, struggling baitfish convincingly, even at varied retrieve speeds.
