The PT1SHLG2 is a left-hand retrieve reel. Choose this model if you want to operate the handle with your left hand, it is not the right-hand retrieve version.
The 7.5:1 gear ratio gives a stated line retrieve of 76.2 cm per handle turn. This allows quick slack pickup between lure movements, so it suits anglers who want a fast retrieve without relying on the ratio alone to judge line pickup.
Both are supported. The supplier states 110 yards, approximately 100.6 m, of 12 lb-test monofilament or 50 lb-test braid on the 32 mm spool. Use these as the two supplied capacity references, no line diameters are specified for comparison with other lines.
Casting adjustment is external, with a recessed dial that stays clear of the palm. During the fight, the carbon fiber drag provides up to approximately 9.1 kg of drag pressure, while the 95 mm bowed carbon handle and Winn grip give a comfortable hold. Casting control and fish-fighting drag serve different functions and are not the same brake.
