Korda recommends it only for situations requiring maximum casting distance. Its very fine, single-strand PE construction is designed for very long casts, so choose it for that specific need rather than routine main-line use.
Always cushion the braid with elastic or a similar buffer before the cast reaches the line clip. Korda explicitly requires this cushioning, so include it in your setup for clipped casts.
You receive 300 m of SLR Braid. Use this supplied length when comparing the line with the amount needed for your reel setup.

Korda SLR Braid is a very fine, single-strand polyethylene (PE) carp main line developed for very long casts. Its fine construction is designed for situations where reaching maximum casting distance is the priority.
Korda recommends using this line only when maximum casting distance is required, rather than as a general-purpose main line. The supplier also refers to it as SLR / Marker braid.
Always cushion the braid with elastic or a similar buffer before the cast reaches the line clip. This is part of Korda's handling guidance and must be considered when setting up for long casts.
The supplied line length is 300 m.
