It shapes the hook section inwards to help the hook turn in the fish's mouth and improve hooking potential. The tubing holds this curve during presentation but straightens once a fish is hooked, so the shaped section does not stay rigidly curved.
You receive eight pieces of shrink tubing in the colour Weed, each 55 mm long. This is tubing for constructing your own carp rigs, not a pack of complete ready-tied rigs.

Korda Shrink Tube XL is easy-to-use shrink tubing for building carp rigs. It shapes the hook section inwards to help the hook turn in the fish's mouth and improve hooking potential, making it a versatile component for rig construction.
The tubing is stiff enough to retain the shaped curve while the rig is presented. Once a fish is hooked, it straightens rather than remaining rigidly curved.
The Weed version contains eight lengths of tubing, each 55 mm long. These are individual tubing pieces for building your own rigs, not complete ready-tied rigs.
