Yes. The tare function lets you subtract the sling weight, and the internal memory stores up to 50 weights. You can therefore weigh the fish without including the sling and keep several results on the scale.
The supplier describes the scale as water-repellent and shock-resistant, with construction intended for bankside demands. These features support use at the bank, but the supplied information does not establish waterproofing or suitability for immersion.

The Korda Digital Scale is a digital fish scale developed for weighing large common and mirror carp at the bank. It measures up to 60 kg in 25 g increments. Its easy-to-read LCD screen has a green backlight, so you can read the weight during night fishing too.
The scale is easy to operate and has a tare function to subtract the weight of the weighing sling from the total. Its internal memory stores up to 50 weights, allowing you to keep several catch weights on the scale rather than recording each one immediately.
The water-repellent, shock-resistant construction is designed to withstand the demands of bankside use. Water repellency should not be confused with a waterproof rating.
