It holds five carp rods up to 3.66 m (12 ft) with reels inside, with external pockets and straps for two further rods. The interior accommodates big pit reels and 50 mm butt rings, so you can carry these larger setups without removing the reels.
Rear pockets take storm poles, banksticks and a landing net, while a separate zipped pocket stores leads or small items. This keeps accessories organised separately from the padded rod and reel spaces for unpacking at the swim.
The supplier specifies water-repellent outer fabric and a reinforced waterproof base, not whole-holdall waterproofing. Treat these as protection for those areas rather than a fully waterproof enclosure. The lining is wipe-clean, allowing dirt inside to be wiped away after use.
It has a removable padded shoulder strap and reinforced carrying handles. You can carry it over your shoulder for the walk to the swim or use the handles for lifting and shorter moves, and remove the strap when it is not needed.

The Korda Compac Rod Holdall carries five carp rods up to 3.66 m (12 ft) with their reels. Full internal padding and padded dividers separate the rods and reels to protect them against knocks during transport to the water. The space-saving rod layout accommodates large big pit reels and 50 mm butt rings, so these larger components fit inside the holdall.
External pockets and straps secure two further rods, useful for carrying a marker or spod rod alongside the five rods inside. Pockets along the back hold storm poles, banksticks and a landing net. A separate zipped pocket keeps leads or frequently used small items together and accessible. This layout separates the equipment for organised unpacking at the swim.
