The Kinetic Sabiki Blekksprut Maxi is a ready-made squid rig designed for fishing in Norwegian fjords and on the open sea. Large squid imitations are already mounted on the nylon leader, saving you the work of tying the presentation yourself.
The supplier lists cod, pollock, coalfish, mackerel and whiting as target species. The rig is intended for saltwater fishing, with vertical fishing from a boat and trolling among its stated applications. It can also be used along coastal sections and groynes with current.
The rig uses nylon line and nickel-plated, chemically sharpened hooks. The pre-mounted squid imitations provide the bait profile, while the sharpened hook points support penetration when a fish takes. This is an assembled presentation rather than a pack of loose squid bodies.
This version has #8/0 hooks, a rig length of 110 cm and a line diameter of 0.80 mm. Its large squid imitations come in Blue & Black Glitter. The stated net weight is 32 g. One rig is supplied per pack, so the pack quantity refers to the complete rig, not the number of hooks.
