A sabiki rig is a multi-hook leader designed for saltwater fishing, especially mackerel, sea trout, and similar predators. Simply lower it to your target depth on a jigging motion or while drifting. The rubber eels and hook arrangement trigger strikes from multiple fish.
Rubber eels (gummi-makks) appeal to the natural feeding behavior of mackerel and cod, mimicking small baitfish silhouettes. They stay flexible in cold water, creating lifelike movement that metal spoons cannot match. The pre-rigged system lets them move freely on the hook.
