Each pack contains 10 oval rings measuring 4 x 8 mm, with a stated strength rating of 27 kg. Compare the dimensions with your lure and hook attachment points to choose a fitting connection, with spare rings available for further rigs.
Yes, the stainless steel rings are specified for both saltwater and freshwater use. Applications include coastal lure fishing for sea trout and sea bass and freshwater spinning, so the choice depends on your rig's dimensions and required strength rather than water type alone.
The ring can be opened with a standard split-ring plier. This lets you fit or change the hook while retaining the split-ring connection, rather than using a snap with an opening gate.

The Kinetic Oval Splitring is a stainless steel split ring for inline-lure setups and for use as a stopper. It gives the hook freedom to move rather than holding it in a rigid connection. The oval shape provides a compact connection between lure and hook.
Use the ring with inline lures when you want the hook to move freely, or as a stopper in a hook or leader setup. It can also be used in conventional spinning rigs. A split-ring plier opens the ring for fitting or changing hooks.
The stainless steel construction is suited to both saltwater and freshwater use. Supported applications include coastal lure fishing for sea trout and sea bass, as well as freshwater spinning.
This version measures 4 x 8 mm and has a stated strength rating of 27 kg. Check these dimensions against your lure and hook attachment points when choosing the connection. Each pack contains 10 split rings for assembling several rigs or keeping replacements available.
