It is intended for coarse and predator fishing, and the supplier also lists it as a feeder reel. This gives feeder anglers a stated use to work from when selecting a reel, with size 5500 and 330 g weight to compare against their setup.
The stated capacity is 200 m of 0.205 mm line. Use that diameter-and-length pairing as the reference when planning spool filling, rather than assuming the same capacity for a different line diameter.
The reel has a finely adjustable front drag with a maximum drag force of 5 kg. You can adjust line release during a fight to suit your line, rather than treating the maximum as the setting for every setup.

The FTM Vertigo Black Edition is a fixed-spool reel for coarse and predator fishing, also listed by the supplier as a feeder reel. Its smooth running supports an even retrieve, while the finely adjustable front drag lets you control line release during a fight.
The front drag provides up to 5 kg of drag force and can be adjusted to suit the line and fishing situation. The 5.0:1 gear ratio gives five rotor revolutions per handle turn. The bearing specification is 7+1.
The 5500 model weighs 330 g, a useful figure when comparing the weight of your rod-and-reel setup. Its stated line capacity is 200 m at 0.205 mm diameter, giving you a reference for choosing line and planning spool filling.
The reel has a matt black finish.
