The FTM Teletrout-X is a telescopic trout rod developed with trout angler Michael Kahlstadt for retrieving light rigs and float fishing at trout lakes. Its blank is lighter and more responsive than earlier models in the series, providing direct feedback and more precise bait control.
The 3.3 m rod has a casting weight of 2–15 g and suits fishing at greater distances or with longer leaders. Its sensitive action supports delicate presentations while retaining the strength needed to control fish during the fight.
At 156 g, the rod supports comfortable fishing over longer sessions. The telescopic construction packs down to 113 cm for easier transport and quick setup at the water.
