It shapes trout dough into a spinner-blade-shaped hookbait for trout fishing with a retrieved bait. The shaped dough rotates rapidly and produces strong pressure waves when pulled through the water, so it is intended for a moving bait presentation.
Roll the trout dough into a ball and insert the hook, then place the hooklength line in the designated slot before pressing the two halves together. This lets you form the bait around the hook with the line routed through the mould's slot.
Coat the mould with a drop of oil before adding the dough. This helps the dough release after pressing, so you can remove the formed hookbait ready for use.
