The FTM Spoon Wob (Wobbling Spoon) is a purpose-built trout metal lure designed for active spinning in lakes, ponds, and rivers. Its spirally twisted body kicks out strong vibrations on every retrieve, giving trout a trigger they find hard to ignore.
The spiral, twisted profile of the Spoon Wob is the key to its performance. Under tension during the retrieve, the body rotates and wobbles, generating intense vibrations that travel through the water column and alert trout at distance. This makes it particularly effective when fish are holding deeper or in lower-visibility conditions.
The front and back faces are painted in contrasting colours, so the lure flashes alternately as it rolls through the water. This flank-and-flash effect mimics the erratic glint of a small baitfish, adding a visual trigger to complement the vibration.
