It is intended for light to medium spinning and coarse fishing. This size 2000 fixed-spool reel weighs 240 g, making it an option to consider for either use rather than a reel limited to lure fishing.
The stated capacity is 180 m of 0.28 mm line. Use that diameter and length as the reference for filling the spool, since the supplier does not give capacities for other diameters.
It has a multi-disc front drag with a maximum drag force of 8 kg. The drag controls line release while playing fish, and 8 kg is the maximum specification rather than a setting to use for every line.
The stated retrieve is 68 cm per handle turn with a 5.2:1 gear ratio. Compare the 68 cm figure with other reels when choosing a retrieve pace for spinning or bringing in a coarse-fishing rig.
