The FTM R18 Trout Area is an ultra-light spinning rod for fishing trout ponds and lakes with small spoons and trout plugs. Its sensitive carbon blank supports precise lure control and bite detection, while the 52 g rod weight keeps repeated casting comfortable over longer sessions.
The 175 cm rod has a 0–2 g casting range. Its blank action and casting performance are matched to ultra-light lures, helping you cast small, light spoons and plugs. The strong carbon construction also supports playing hard-fighting salmon trout.
The blank measures 5.2 mm in diameter and is fitted with sturdy, durable guides. The two-piece construction reduces the transport length to 90 cm, so it takes up less space on the way to the water.
