The FTM Omura Caster is a purpose-built casting spoon designed to cover serious distances in both salt and freshwater, even when the wind pushes back hard.
The Omura Caster's aerodynamic body shape is engineered for long-range spinning. Where lighter or less streamlined spoons lose momentum, this lure cuts through headwinds and lands where the fish are — at the edge of the sandbar, beyond the surf, or across a wide lake flat. Available in 15 g / 8.8 cm and 22 g / 10 cm, you can match the weight to current conditions and target range.
Despite its casting focus, the Omura Caster doesn't sacrifice movement. Its lively swimming action produces the irregular, flickering wobble that sea trout key in on in coastal surf, but works equally well on large rainbow trout in stocked lakes and trout ponds. Bold, fish-attracting colour finishes add visual stimulus in coloured or choppy water.
