The FTM (Fishing Tackle Max) Omura Baits Hero Banane is a purpose-built soft lure (softbait) for ultra-light spinning on trout at put-and-take lakes and stocked ponds. Its combination of a highly flexible compound and built-in banana attractant makes it a reliable choice when trout are being selective.
The Hero's lamellar, ribbed body profile and finely tapered tail generate pressure waves and micro-vibrations as it moves through the water. This swimming action closely mimics struggling prey, giving cautious trout a convincing reason to strike even under clear-water conditions.
FTM uses a particularly supple rubber compound that allows the bait to flex and pulse with minimal retrieve speed — ideal for slow, methodical presentations. The integrated banana scent adds an additional trigger, masking handling odours and encouraging trout to hold on longer after the take.
