The FTM Musashi Inline (Durchlaufblinker, or through-run spinner) is a dedicated trout spoon built around a wide-body design that produces a deep, seductive tumbling action — paired with an inline line-through rig that keeps hooked fish on.
The broad profile of the Musashi generates a pronounced rolling-and-tumbling swimming motion at a wide range of retrieve speeds. This erratic, lifelike movement triggers reaction strikes from trout that might ignore more predictable lures, making it effective in both clear and lightly coloured water.
The Durchlaufblinker design lets the line run freely through the spoon body via a purpose-built plastic tube insert, which protects the line from wear. Because the hook connection is independent of the spoon's weight, a fighting trout cannot use the lure as leverage to shake the hook — significantly lowering the chance of losing fish during the fight.
