The FTM Masu is a compact trout crankbait (crankbait/wobbler) designed specifically for spin fishing on trout ponds and trout lakes, and it doubles well as a perch lure when conditions call for it.

At just 2.9 cm and 1.2 g, the Masu mimics a small baitfish that sits squarely in a salmonid's prey profile. Its lively, tight wobble kicks in even at the slowest possible retrieve speed, making it effective when fish are lethargic or the water is cold and clear.

Single Hook – Ready for Restricted Waters

The Masu is rigged with a sharp single hook, which means you can fish it confidently on venues where treble hooks are banned. It runs at a depth of approximately 50 cm (floating action), keeping it in the strike zone of shallow-holding trout. When extra casting distance is needed, a Sbirolino float can be added ahead of the lure without affecting its action.
