It is designed for freshwater predator fishing for zander, pike and catfish, including large fish. The supplier names zander jig fishing, pike fishing with large crankbaits and catfish fishing with natural baits, so its role is removing deeply seated hooks across these fishing situations.
The pistol shape and lever mechanism are specifically designed to grip and release deep-set hooks with directed pressure. Compared with conventional flat-nose pliers, the design provides a better working angle and more leverage. Its simple operation also suits beginners, reducing the effort needed to release the hook.
It is 24 cm long. The compact design is intended for everyday bankside use, and this length gives you a concrete dimension to check against your tackle storage space.
Rinse it with clean water and dry it thoroughly before putting it away. This helps prevent corrosion on the moving parts and keeps the mechanism functioning.

The FTM JustPro Hook Pistol is a 24 cm hook remover for freshwater predator fishing. Its lever mechanism grips and releases deeply seated hooks with directed pressure, reducing the effort needed during unhooking. The ergonomic pistol shape provides a firm hold for precise handling, including when working under time pressure.
Designed for zander, pike and catfish, including large predators, the Hook Pistol addresses hooks lodged deep in the mouth or throat. Supported uses include jig fishing for zander, fishing large crankbaits for pike and natural-bait fishing for catfish. Its purpose is targeted hook removal rather than the general gripping work of conventional pliers.
The pistol-shaped design supports a controlled working angle and greater leverage than conventional flat-nose pliers. The simple operation also suits beginners without much experience of removing deep-set hooks. At 24 cm long, the tool has a compact design for everyday bankside use.
Rinse the Hook Pistol with clean water after use and dry it thoroughly before storage. This helps prevent corrosion on the moving parts and maintains their function.
