It is designed for vertical fishing for zander, pike and perch. The 195 cm length and 10–35 g casting weight define this model, so choose a lure setup within that range.
Yes, the supplier explicitly describes this use. The sensitive tip helps show bites while the rod rests in the holder, but it does not guarantee that every bite will be detected.
The rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 103 cm. Allow that length when choosing a storage space or rod bag.

The Fox Rage Ultron 2 Vertical is a vertical jigging rod for zander, pike and perch. Its sensitive blank and tip help transmit and show bites, including when the rod is fished passively in a rod holder.
This 195 cm model has a casting weight of 10–35 g. The extra-fast action pairs a sensitive tip with plenty of backbone in the butt to support the hookset. Choose your lure setup within the stated casting-weight range.
The blank uses 24 t carbon fibre. Seven SIC Slim (silicon carbide) guides carry the line along the rod, and a Fuji reel seat secures the reel. The black EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) and synthetic cork handle provides the grip. At 144 g, the balanced rod is designed for comfortable handling over a full day's fishing.
The two-piece construction reduces the 195 cm fishing length to a transport length of 103 cm, making it easier to stow between sessions.
