The Fox Rage TR Shad N Chatter is a casting rod for fishing lighter shads, bladed jigs and spinnerbaits with a baitcasting reel. The fast-action 40/30 Ton Carbon Cloth blank and 120 g rod weight suit active lure work. It is the lightest casting option in the TR range.
At 210 cm with a casting weight of 10–40 g, this model covers the stated lighter lure applications. Choose lures within that casting range. Fuji guides carry the line, while a high-quality reel seat holds the baitcasting reel. The slim design has split handles made from first-class cork and black EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate).
The removable hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between casts and can be taken off when not needed. The angled butt gives the rod a distinctive finish and helps it stand. The two-piece construction has a transport length of 173 cm, so allow that space when packing. A rod bag with a Velcro fastening is included.
Carbon fibres conduct electricity. Do not use this rod during thunderstorms or near high-voltage power lines, where there is a risk of fatal electric shock.
