The Fox Rage TR Replicant Special is a casting rod for fishing Replicants and larger shads for pike. Its low weight and balanced design make repeated casting comfortable over longer sessions. The 230 cm rod is designed for baitcasting reels and lures within its 40–120 g casting range.
The 40/30 Ton Carbon Cloth blank keeps the rod lightweight at 180 g while providing the power needed to cast these lures. The split handle combines first-class cork with black EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) for the grip areas. A high-quality reel seat secures the reel, and Fuji guides carry the line along the blank.
The two-piece construction has a transport length of 180 cm, so allow for that length when packing. A rod bag with Velcro fastening is included. The removable hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between casts and can be taken off when not needed. The angled butt design also helps the rod stand.
The carbon fibres are highly electrically conductive. Do not use the rod during thunderstorms or near high-voltage power lines, as this poses a life-threatening risk of electric shock.
