The waterproof fabric and sealed seams keep rain out. The supplier describes reliable protection in light to moderate rain, making it suitable for changeable fishing weather. No water-column rating is specified, so a numerical waterproof rating cannot be compared.
The rear snap closure provides stepped adjustment for different head sizes and allows the fit to be adapted when wearing a rain-jacket hood. The six-panel shape supports a comfortable fit during long sessions. No circumference range is supplied, so exact size compatibility cannot be confirmed from the specifications.
It is intended for freshwater predator fishing for pike, zander and perch, including spinning, softbait jigging and trolling. Its rain protection is not tied to a particular technique, so it can also be used for trout fishing or other methods in wet weather.
