It is designed for pike paternoster fishing with baitfish and specifically for the Heli Rotary Uptrace. Paternoster setups need shorter traces, so choose this system for that application rather than treating it as a complete paternoster assembly or a universally compatible trace.
Size #8 has a 12 kg strength rating, while #6 and #4 are both rated at 18 kg. Choose #8 for the smaller hook size and lower rating. Between the two 18 kg versions, choose by hook size, with #4 being larger than #6, to match the hook arrangement needed for your baitfish.
The trace is made from 49-strand steel wire, and each pack contains one trace system. You receive one wire trace for the compatible setup, not a multipack or a complete paternoster assembly.

The Fox Rage Predator Quick Change Paternoster Trace is a steel trace for pike fishing with baitfish. Pike paternoster setups require shorter traces, and this system was developed specifically for the Heli Rotary Uptrace. It provides the baitfish trace for that setup rather than an entire paternoster assembly.
The trace uses 49-strand steel wire. This forms the wire connection between the baitfish hook arrangement and the compatible uptrace. The stated compatibility is with the Heli Rotary Uptrace, so choose it for that system rather than assuming it fits any paternoster arrangement.
The range comprises size #8 with a 12 kg strength rating, size #6 with 18 kg, and size #4 with 18 kg. Choose #8 when you need the smaller hook size and the 12 kg rating. The #6 and #4 versions share the higher 18 kg rating, so the difference between them is hook size, with #4 being larger. Match the size to the hook arrangement you need for your baitfish.
Each pack contains one trace system.
