It is intended for active dropshot fishing for perch and trout. The supplied 5 g weights are intended for fishing from the bank or boat in lakes, trout ponds, canals and slow-flowing rivers. Choose this kit for those freshwater dropshot situations.
The rigs use 100 cm fluorocarbon leaders of 0.18 mm diameter with a breaking strain of 2.57 kg and size 10 hooks. Fluorocarbon is described as nearly invisible underwater, making the supplied leaders an inconspicuous option for wary perch and trout.
