They were developed for carp fishing with luncheon meat and also suit other soft hookbaits. You can use them on hair rigs for carp, barbel and feeder fishing for other large coarse fish, not just with meat bait.
After threading the soft bait onto the hair, insert the stop crosswise through the hair loop and seat the loop in its recess. This fixes the bait on the hair so it holds during powerful casts and river fishing.
Each pack contains 10 bait stops in the Small version. If you need more than 10 Small stops for your hair rigs, you will need more than one pack.

Fox Luncheon Meat Stopps are bait stops developed for carp fishing with luncheon meat. They secure the soft bait on the hair rig so it stays in place during powerful casts and river fishing.
Thread the soft meat bait onto the hair, then insert the stop crosswise through the hair loop. Seat the loop in the stop's recess to hold the bait securely.
The stops also suit other soft hookbaits. Alongside carp fishing, they can be used for barbel fishing and feeder fishing for other large coarse fish. Their bait retention is useful when casting forcefully or fishing in a river.
This Small version comes in a pack of 10 bait stops.
