This carp rod is intended for spod and marker work. Its slim, light yet powerful carbon blank has fast recovery to support longer, more accurate casts. The supplier also highlights its fish-playing action.
Thin, multidirectional carbon layers are bonded through nanofibres using electrodes. Multidirectionally woven nanofibres, interlaminar fabric and a 1k carbon mat form the blank construction. Extra carbon reinforces the Power overfit joints where the two sections connect.
Anti-Tangle K-Series Gunsmoke guides run from 50 mm to 16 mm and help reduce line tangles during casting. A Fuji 18 mm DPS-Gunsmoke reel seat secures the reel. This Full shrink version has a shrink-wrap handle finish, with understated styling and lettering.
The 12ft rod measures 3.6576 m and weighs 418 g. It separates into two sections with a transport length of 187 cm, the dimension to check against your rod bag and vehicle space.
