It marks carp fishing spots in a lake for anglers who bait up and place rigs by boat. The supplied sections total 7 m, and the 2.5 kg weight anchors that assembly against weed, debris and water movement. Further extensions in two 1 m lengths are sold separately.
Red, green and blue provide approximately 130 hours of continuous illumination, compared with approximately 75 hours for amber, purple and white. Choose red, green or blue if continuous runtime matters most. Standby life is approximately 552 hours, or 23 days, with quality new batteries and the capsule on but its LED off. One AA battery is required and is not supplied.
Yes, the Halo Remote switches the capsule lights on and off over a stated range of 350 m with a clear line of sight. The remote is sold separately, so add it if you want remote switching, and account for obstructions between the bank and capsule.
Yes. The capsule is removable, and the included hanging adaptor lets you suspend it on its own from a tree on the far bank or an island. For an unlit pole marker, use the supplied translucent Fox orange blanking cap. A carry case is included, while the Mesh Weight Bag is sold separately.

The Fox Halo 1 Pole Kit is a marker-pole set for carp anglers who use a boat to bait up and place rigs in a lake. It provides 7 m of pole sections, a 2.5 kg anchoring weight and a removable illuminated capsule, giving you a fixed reference for the area you are fishing, including after dark.
Increased wall thickness improves strength and wear resistance when handling the pole from a boat and positioning it with the weight attached. The supplied 2.5 kg weight holds the full 7 m assembly in place and helps resist movement caused by wind, weed, debris and water movement.
The kit contains four 1 m sections, one 0.5 m section and two 0.75 m sections, all with a 22 mm diameter, plus a 1 m top section with a 27 mm diameter. These sections total 7 m.
The removable capsule offers six light colours: red, green, blue, amber, purple and white. Red, green and blue provide approximately 130 hours of illumination, while amber, purple and white provide approximately 75 hours. Choosing one of the first three colours gives you the longer stated continuous runtime. With quality new batteries, standby life is approximately 552 hours, or 23 days, with the capsule on and its light-emitting diode (LED) off.
The capsule requires one AA battery, which is not included. Its lights can be switched on and off with the separately available Halo Remote, with a stated range of 350 m in a clear line of sight. This range depends on an unobstructed view between remote and capsule.
A hanging adaptor lets you use the capsule on its own, for example suspended from a tree on the far bank or an island. A translucent Fox orange blanking cap is included for marking without illumination. The supplied carry case keeps the kit together for transport.
The Halo Remote, Mesh Weight Bag and further pole extensions supplied as two 1 m lengths are available separately. Recycle used batteries according to local guidelines and do not burn or puncture them.
