Yes. The rod remains firmly seated in windy conditions, and the soft-touch rubber inlay prevents sliding even at an acute angle. This keeps the rod in position without obstructing line movement through the deep slot.
The rest has a Betalight slot for a night-time marker. With a Betalight fitted, the rest is easier to locate in the dark. The supplier confirms the slot but does not specify whether a Betalight is included.

The Fox Frontrunner Rod Rest is designed for pike and specialist anglers. Its deep line slot allows friction-free line movement while keeping the rod firmly seated, even in windy conditions.
The soft-touch rubber inlay prevents the rod from sliding, even when set at an acute angle. This helps keep the rod in position when an angled setup is needed.
The rest has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel stud. A Betalight slot provides a fitting point for a night-time marker, making the rest easier to locate in the dark when a Betalight is fitted.
