This is a spare standard spool for the Fox EOS 8000 FS, not a complete reel. Choose it for that model, as compatibility with other EOS FS sizes is not stated.
The stated capacity is 300 m of 0.30 mm monofilament, suitable for carp fishing at distance and for taking rigs out by boat or bait boat. Braid of comparable breaking strain can also be used, but its actual capacity may differ. Backing helps fill the spool evenly.
You can keep a different line ready on this additional spool and change it on your Fox EOS 8000 FS when conditions change. This lets you change line by swapping spools rather than refilling the same spool at the water.
