Fox Edges Spinner D-Aligna: more freedom for the hookbait

The Fox Edges Camo Spinner D-Aligna is a preformed rig component for carp fishing with Spinner Rigs in still and flowing freshwater. Its D-shaped design gives the hookbait room to move towards the aligner when a carp blows it out. This encourages separation between bait and hook to help the hook take hold.

Bait attachment without reshaping

The preformed shape needs no bending or further shaping. Add a Micro Hook Ring Swivel or a Bait Screw to attach a boilie or another hookbait. These are components for building a Spinner Rig, not complete ready-tied rigs.

Pack contents and size information

This Camo pack contains 10 D-Alignas for assembling multiple rigs. The supplier describes Standard and XL versions, with XL providing more room for larger hookbaits such as large boilies. The size of this particular pack is not specified, so it cannot be identified as Standard or XL from the supplied information.

Care after fishing

Rinse the D-Alignas with clean water after use and store them dry to help preserve their shape and function.

Frequently asked

What does the D-shaped design do on a Spinner Rig?

It gives the hookbait room to move towards the aligner when a carp blows it out. This supports separation between bait and hook, helping the hook take hold during a take.

How do I attach the hookbait, and does the D-Aligna need shaping?

Add a Micro Hook Ring Swivel or a Bait Screw to attach a boilie or another hookbait. The D-Aligna is already preformed, so no bending or reshaping is needed when building the Spinner Rig.

Does this pack contain Standard or XL D-Alignas?

The supplied information does not identify the size of this pack. The supplier describes Standard for usual hookbait sizes and XL for larger hookbaits such as large boilies, so check the pack size before choosing it for a specific bait size.

How many D-Alignas are included, and are they complete rigs?

The pack contains 10 preformed D-Alignas. They are individual components rather than complete rigs, giving you parts for assembling multiple Spinner Rigs with your other rig components.
