It is intended for carp fishing in weedy or snaggy water. The kit allows the inline lead to release during the fight, reducing the risk of the lead catching around vegetation or obstacles such as submerged timber.
The kits fit all Fox inline leads and virtually any line or leader type, including monofilament, fluorocarbon and braid. You can therefore use the drop-off components with these line types and your existing Fox inline leads. Compatibility with other brands of lead is not specified.
No, these are component kits for building the drop-off arrangement, not fully tied fishing rigs. Each kit contains a plug, pin, inline insert and tail rubber for use with a compatible inline lead and your chosen line or leader.

Fox Edges Naturals Inline Lead Drop Off Kits provide the components for drop-off inline rigs when carp fishing in weedy or snaggy water. The system allows the inline lead to release during the fight, reducing the risk of the lead catching in vegetation or around obstacles. It is intended for situations such as weed-filled lakes, gravel pits and fishing near reeds, lily beds, submerged timber or steep drop-offs.
The kits fit all Fox inline leads and work with virtually any line or leader type, including monofilament, fluorocarbon and braid. Each kit contains a plug, pin, inline insert and tail rubber, providing the components for the drop-off arrangement rather than a fully tied fishing rig. Supplied in a pack of 5.
The Edges Naturals camouflage finish helps the components blend into the lake bed for a less conspicuous presentation. This is particularly relevant when fishing for wary carp on heavily fished waters.
Rinse the components in clean water after fishing and let them dry before storing them.
