It is a preformed component for building carp D-rigs, not a complete ready-tied rig. The D is already shaped, so you do not need to form it with fiddly knots when assembling your rig.
The XL version is intended for larger hookbaits, including larger boilies and artificial baits. A Micro Hook Ring Swivel or Bait Screw provides the bait attachment, with boilies, artificial maize and other hookbaits supported by the setup.
It gives the hookbait room to move towards the aligner section as a carp tries to eject it. This helps separate bait and hook, supporting the hook's ability to take hold instead of being expelled with the bait.
Each pack contains 10 D-Aligna components intended for single use. Check the rig after landing a carp and before the next cast, replacing components as necessary rather than assuming they remain fit for use.

The Fox Edges Naturals D-Aligna is a preformed hook aligner for building D-rigs for freshwater carp fishing in lakes, ponds and rivers. Its ready-shaped D removes the fiddly knot work needed to form that part of the rig, making assembly simpler, including for less experienced anglers.
The D gives the hookbait room to move towards the aligner section when a carp tries to eject it. This supports separation of bait and hook, helping the hook find a hold rather than follow the bait out of the mouth.
Use a Micro Hook Ring Swivel or Bait Screw to attach the hookbait. The setup works with boilies, artificial maize and other hookbaits. The XL size is intended for larger hookbaits, making it the relevant choice for larger boilies or artificial baits rather than smaller, finer presentations.
Each pack contains 10 preformed D-Aligna components, not complete ready-tied rigs. They are intended as single-use rig components. After landing a carp, check the rig before using it again and replace components as necessary.
