It is useful when playing carp near weed, mussel beds or underwater obstacles. The kit lets the inline lead detach during the fight, removing its extra weight and reducing leverage at the hook in these demanding areas.
The kits fit all Fox inline leads and nearly every line and leader type, including monofilament, fluorocarbon, braid and leadcore. You can therefore use an existing Fox inline lead with these line types, while compatibility with other brands' leads is not specified.
A pack contains five complete sets, each with plugs, pins, an inline insert and a tail rubber. This provides the drop-off components for five setups, rather than five pre-tied rigs.

The Fox Edges Inline Lead Drop Off Kits provide components for carp rigs that allow the inline lead to detach from the line during the fight. Releasing the lead removes its extra weight and reduces leverage at the hook, particularly when playing carp around weed, mussel beds or other underwater obstacles.
The kits fit all Fox inline leads and suit nearly every line and leader type, including monofilament, fluorocarbon, braid and leadcore. They are intended for carp bottom rigs and can also be used in carp float setups with inline leads. The drop-off function is particularly relevant when casting into snaggy or heavily vegetated areas.
Each pack contains five complete sets. Each set includes plugs, pins, an inline insert and a tail rubber, providing the coordinated components for the drop-off arrangement rather than a pre-tied fishing rig. The components combine quickly and are suitable for beginners as well as experienced carp anglers.
All components have the Edges Camo camouflage finish to make the rig less conspicuous on the bottom, a useful feature when fishing for wary carp.
