It is intended for carp fishing in weedy or snaggy venues. The system allows an inline lead to detach from the line during a fight if it gets caught, rather than remaining attached at the obstacle.
The kits fit all Fox inline leads and are designed for almost any line or leader material. You can choose a Fox inline lead for your setup without being restricted to one line or leader material, but compatibility with other lead brands is not specified.
The pack contains five kits with plugs, pins, an inline insert and a tail rubber, all in the Edges Camo colouration. These are the components for assembling the drop-off system, not five complete tied carp rigs.
