This kit is designed for helicopter rigs and chod montages. The main bead carries a wire loop for fixing the main line or leader, while the separate buffer section slides over the bead to protect the knot.
You can use the components on leader materials or directly on the main line. With the tapered insert fitted, the kit suits monofilament main line. Without the insert, it can be used on leadcore and lead-free leaders.
The lead swivel can be secured with the supplied T-pins, or with Edges PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) strips when you want the lead to discharge during the fight. The locking system is firm enough for the rig to be retrieved, while still allowing the lead to come free when it meets weed or other obstacles.
