Designed specifically for helicopter and chod rig construction in carp fishing, this kit of six camouflage buffer beads gives you a clean, protective connection point on your mainline or leader — with a built-in drop-off mechanism when it counts.
The main bead fixes your mainline or leader via its wire eye, while a separate buffer section slides over the top to protect the knot from impact. Without the tapered insert, the bead runs directly on leadcore and lead-free leaders. With the tapered insert fitted, it works on mono mainline — one bead kit covering multiple rig set-ups.
The lead swivel clips securely into the locking mechanism, holding firm during casting and retrieval — even when PVA strips are used. Yet the retention force is calibrated so that on contact with weed, snags, or underwater obstacles during the fight, the lead releases cleanly. For permanent lead attachment, the included T-bar pins lock the swivel in place.
