A D-Rig (Drennan Hook Configuration) is a carp rigging system that suspends the hookbait above the hook using a small bead and mono loop. This separation allows the hook to move independently, improving hook penetration and reducing ejection of the rig during the strike.
Arma Point hooks feature a needle-sharp, hand-ground point that penetrates cleanly and quickly. The specific angle and geometry maximize penetration depth while maintaining shank strength, making them reliable across varied carp fishing scenarios.
Non-reflective coating reduces light reflection near the hook eye, minimizing the visual alarm carp experience in clear water. This subtle camouflage supports more natural hook presentation and can improve bite rates in pressured or gin-clear conditions.
A macro barb is a larger-than-standard barb that provides enhanced hook retention once the point has penetrated. It secures the rig in place during fight and handling, while the sharp point prioritizes initial penetration—a balance between aggressive hooking and reliable holding.
While optimized for D-Rig presentations, the Arma Point SSBP can be adapted to other carp rigs. However, they are primarily designed for D-Rig configurations—check hook size compatibility with your chosen setup before use.

Fox D-Rig hooks deliver reliable performance for modern D-Rig (DHC – Drennan Hook Configuration) setups. Engineered for carp anglers who demand consistent presentation and secure hookhold.
Arma Point geometry combines sharpness with durability. This hand-ground point penetrates cleanly while maintaining strength under load, essential for confident hook strikes in challenging conditions.
The non-reflective coating reduces light glint near the hook eye, minimizing disturbance to wary carp. This subtle enhancement supports natural presentation in clear water.
Series SSBP (Semi Slider Barbless Pattern) hooks are dimensioned for standard D-Rig materials and loop configurations. The consistent shank length and eye positioning simplify rig construction and ensure repeatable results.
The macro barb provides positive retention once the hook has penetrated, offering security without excessive wire gauge that could compromise penetration.
