They help prevent a carp rod from tipping off its rest in wind or during a strong take. The plate fits beneath the bite alarm on a rod pod or bankstick, adding side protection at the rod support.
The snag ears are designed for most bite alarms, especially Fox N and M series Microns. Black Label indicators screw onto the built-in hockey stick, which helps align the alarm and indicator without a separate hockey stick plate.
Rubber mouldings on the upper half of the ears protect the rod from scratches. The ears can be unscrewed to protect them in transit, or removed when they are not needed while fishing.

These snag ears mount beneath the bite alarm on a rod pod or bankstick to help prevent a carp rod from tipping off its rest in wind or during a strong take. The plate incorporates a hockey stick adapter, making it easier to align the alarm and indicator.
Black Label indicators screw directly onto the integrated hockey stick. The snag ears are designed to work with most bite alarms, particularly Fox N and M series Microns, so compatibility is not limited to those two series.
Rubber mouldings cover the upper half of the ears to protect the rod from scratches at the contact area. The ears unscrew for transport to help prevent damage, and can also be removed when they are not needed.
This version is supplied in black, size L. The packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard.
