The jacket combines a three-layer TPU-laminated shell rated at 25,000 mm hydrostatic head with fully taped seams, water-repellent external YKK zips and an internal storm flap. These features protect the fabric, seams and closure areas for wet-weather fishing, but the zips are described as water-repellent, not waterproof.
The peaked hood is adjustable, the hem has a drawcord with two exits and the partly elasticated cuffs have adjustable straps. Together with close-fitting neoprene cuffs, these let you reduce openings around the head, hem and wrists when conditions become exposed.
An internal zipped security pocket provides a separate place for small valuables. The other pockets have large flaps covering their openings, but no waterproof-pocket rating is supplied, so do not treat them as waterproof storage.
