Choose 2.4 m for fishing seated in a small boat or 2.7 m for fishing standing on a fishing boat, beach or pier. The longer version weighs 270 g rather than 260 g and needs 140 cm of transport space rather than 125 cm, so your fishing position and available storage space guide the choice.
The casting rating is 30–90 g for both lengths, while 120 g applies only to vertical fishing. Choose a spoon within the casting range when casting, and use the separate 120 g limit only for vertical presentations.
Both versions are designed for fixed-spool reels. Their parabolic bend and soft tip provide sensitivity for delicate flatfish bites, making this the supported setup for fishing flounder spoons on the Baltic.

The Eisele Flounder Spinning is a sea fishing rod for Baltic flatfish fishing with flounder spoons and a fixed-spool reel. Its light handling, parabolic bend and soft tip help you detect delicate bites. Two lengths suit different fishing positions, from sitting in a small boat to standing on a fishing boat, beach or pier.
The 2.4 m version is intended for fishing seated in a small boat. It weighs 260 g and breaks down into two sections with a transport length of 125 cm. Choose it for the shorter length when fishing seated.
The 2.7 m version is intended for flatfish such as plaice when fishing while standing on a fishing boat, beach or pier. It weighs 270 g and also has two sections, with a transport length of 140 cm. Its extra 30 cm suits the standing position, but requires 15 cm more transport space than the shorter version.
Both versions have a casting weight of 30–90 g. For vertical fishing, the stated limit is 120 g. Choose your flounder spoon accordingly, as the higher vertical limit is not a 120 g casting rating.
Both rods have a fixed-spool reel seat and seven SIC guides for guiding the line. The parabolic bend and soft tip provide sensitivity for the subtle bites encountered when flatfish fishing.
