Use it for perch and zander jigging or pike spinning on rivers and lakes. It is intended for light to medium lures such as soft shads, hardbaits and inline spinners. The supplier pairs the 3000 size with spinning rods rated around 10–40 g, with lighter 5–20 g rods also suggested for light perch jigs.
The 5.2:1 gearing retrieves 75 cm of line per handle turn, giving you a reference for controlling lure speed. The reel weighs 290 g and has a maximum drag of 5.5 kg. Its 2+1 bearings support a smooth retrieve, including at faster winding speeds. Instant anti-reverse stops the rotor turning backwards when you strike. A lever lets you switch this function off when you want reverse rotation available.
The graphite body and rotor form the reel's supporting structure. A graphite handle arm and ergonomic graphite knob provide a comfortable grip during longer fights. The aluminium spool supports even line lay, while its line clip secures the line when it is not in use.
